In this tutorial I will guide you through my process in a step by step video using the accompanying kit. Together, with me you will learn the craft of Suminagashi, an ancient Japanese art of marbling which simply translates as ‘ink floating’.

throughout the tutorial video I answer many common questions about the process and offer all the tips and techniques I have learnt as a master marbler. the video is suitable for a novice and more advanced artists alike as I will guide you through every stage from the preparation right through to your very own finished pieces.

All materials included, from the inks to the paper pads, will last over several sessions and are sustainable by nature.
